The Waynesboro First Aid Crew is seeking responsible and dependable applicants to fulfill an open EMT/AEMT/Intermediate/Paramedic full time position. Our system handles approximately 4,800 calls for service annually and offers a competitive benefits package. Candidates must possess good communications skills (written/verbal), be able to deal with patients, coworkers, and the general public in a professional and courteous manner.
Successful candidates must be able to work calmly in high stress situations, maintain effective working relationships, be able to commit to a fixed (24 on – 48 off) schedule and will be required to submit to urinalysis and federal background checks.
Interested candidates must have the following:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current Virginia EMS certification
- BLS (CPR) certification
- Current EVOC Class 2
- Valid Virginia Driver’s License
